This week, we're thinking about letting go. 🌬
Letting go of the past, situations we don't have control over, and people and things that no longer serve us.
If you've been following along for a while, you'll know that using meditation to let go of stressis something that we're not strangers to.
However, we know that along with meditation, there are plenty of other amazing ways to release pent-up emotions and let go of things that are too heavy to hold on to any longer.
Next time you need a hand, try some of these simple (but effective) methods of letting go:
Giving your worries to Divine Source/Universe.😇 When something is out of your control or too much to handle, pass it on to something higher that can handle it. Experiment with saying out loud "I'm giving this to you, Universe. It's out of my hands now." This can also work in the form of a letter. Writing to the powers that you believe in and offering your problems up.
Screaming.🗣 (yes, seriously!) Whether it be into your pillow, alone in your car, or even out in the middle of nowhere. Screaming has been found to be extremely effective in releasing built-up tension. Once you find the avenue to let everything you're feeling completely out, your brain will automatically relax.
Have a weekly stress dump.🗑 Throughout your week, write down the stresses and worries as they come up. After a few days, choose the most satisfying way to get rid of them. Crumple them up, throw them out, light them on fire, the options are endless.
