This week, we are prioritizing action with intention. Lao Tzu, ancient Chinese philosopher and founder of Taoism, shares the following wisdom:
Action belongs to all of us, and it’s most powerful when we embrace it! The first step is choosing to take action, which is often the biggest challenge. Once we commit to acting with intention, we have the ability to harness that power and create change. Facilitating micro actions from within gives us the power to spark macro changes in the world.
Our journeys are all interwoven with others, and when we choose to take action, this connectedness can inspire others to do the same.
It’s important to acknowledge that action looks different for everyone! The only requirements are that you show up, participate, and be generous with what you have, whether it’s your time, platform, currency, access to resources, or knowledge.
How can we take all of the internal work being done and turn it into action to support Black Lives Matter? Protest. Donate. Amplify Black voices. Sign petitions. Support black-owned businesses. We’re committed to doing this work, taking action, and we’re inviting you to join us.
Our small steps together can transform into a thousand mile march and make a big difference!
We’d love to hear from you!
What does action look like for you? How do you act with intention in your daily life? How have your actions made a difference in the past?
