Listening With Intention
Welcome to this edition of the Weekly Circle—where we start the week with a few ideas that make us think.
This week, we’re thinking about Listening. Author Stephen Covey put it best:
Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.
We hear a lot of things, but it's rare that we actually take the time and energy to listen...really listen. Active listening is your portal to a whole new realm of truly understanding what's important to another person.
We'd love to hear from you!
When was the last time you met and had a deep conversation with someone? What did you talk about? How did they feel? How did you feel?
