You know that thing you've been putting off? For the last day, week, month...maybe a year?
Avoidance and procrastinating is really fear in disguise and comes back to the good ol' biological fight or flight response.
Whether it's exercising, meditating, calling someone back, sending a gift, paying that bill, making that appointment -- whatever, the task can be so small, but the emotional stranglehold that it has on our minds keeps whatever we need to do tangled up, pushed to the next to-do list.....and the next one....and then the next one. How much better would we feel if we just got it done?
Let's set an intention this week and do one or two of the things we've been avoiding (in sweatpants, mind you). Mine is to send some updates out and calling 2 family members.
