One of our deepest human needs is a feeling of belonging. Throughout our lives, relationships with others can give us a sense of belonging, but these external relationships alone do not define our experience of true belonging. Sometimes, we walk through life disconnected from our internal self, unintentionally hiding parts of our personality. Whenever our sense of being seems distant, mindfulness can help align us back with our ourself and establish a genuine sense of being.
